Write for us

Open Tennis Review welcomes pitches that help general readers understand tennis. We are interested in clear, specific explanations that make a rule, score, format or match pattern easier to follow.

What to pitch

Propose one focused subject and the question your piece will answer. Strong pitches name the intended reader, explain why the subject is useful beyond a single match and show how the explanation will stay distinct from material already covered.

A clear, careful approach

We value accurate terminology, readable structure and a calm, curious voice. Avoid unsupported claims, promotional copy and assumptions that every reader knows tennis shorthand. Do not send confidential material or imply firsthand reporting, testing or expertise that you cannot substantiate.

How to send a proposal

Send your proposal through the Contact page, choosing the editorial question option and including a short outline. Please send a pitch rather than a complete unsolicited article; a proposal is not a promise of publication.
